Mark Dusenbury

Mark Dusenbury, Ph.D.

Professor, Department of Aviation, University of North Dakota's John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences, where he also serves as Graduate Director and Assistant Chair of Online Learning. Active with the Aviation Accreditation Board International, serving as Vice President of Accreditation.

ATP-rated pilot and certified flight instructor. Author of four aviation textbooks and numerous peer-reviewed publications. Has led federally funded research including the National General Aviation Flight Information Database (NGAFID).

Education: Ph.D. in Teaching and Learning, M.S. in Educational Leadership, B.S. in Aeronautical Studies.

Shayne Daku

Shayne Daku, Ph.D.

Captain, NetJets Aviation. Associate Teaching Faculty, Department of Aviation, University of North Dakota. Vice President and Co-owner of Joseph Allan, LLC, supporting the International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA) through credentialing and educational initiatives.

Spent years shaping the next generation of aviators at UND, serving as a tenured Associate Professor and Associate Chair of the Department of Aviation, overseeing faculty development, academic scheduling, and strategic planning. Testing Committee Chair for the NBAA Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) Governing Board.

Education: Ph.D. in Educational Foundations & Research, M.S. in Instructional Design & Technology, B.S. in Aeronautical Science, University of North Dakota.
